Key enrollment dates

  • Annual enrollment for Medicare Advantage plans and prescription drug coverage: Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. During this period, you can compare plans and change coverage.
  • Annual disenrollment period (when you can drop a Medicare Advantage plan): Jan. 1 to Feb. 14. During this period, you can drop a Medicare Advantage plan and switch to Original Medicare. If you do this, you can add a prescription drug plan.
